What is this?

"Zoomery mix" is our way of helping you browse and comprehend the amazing amount of information that was presented during the 2010 Mix conference in Las Vegas. You can see the work we did with the 2009 Mix conference at Zoomery Mix'09

What technologies are used?

We are using Microsoft Silverlight for the multimedia and zooming experience (along with the build in Deep Zoom technology), and our own Zoomery framework to generate and display the content from the Mix Powerpoint files. The application also showcases a few new Silverlight 4 features (and thus requires the Silverlight 4 RC runtime), such as GPU accelerated Deep Zoom and Perspective transform, and keeping the video running in full screen on a secondary monitor while the other monitor is used for working.

So, what is this Zoomery thing?

Zoomery is the name of our tool and framework that helps automatically creating Deep Zoom scenes from any digital data. for more samples, including a C# browser, a file system browser with documents, please visit the Zoomery homepage.

Tell me some statistics!

Gladly! We have processed 130 presentations, total of 3271 slides. The Deep Zoom scene has 363 images. There is more than 1.2 Gigapixels of information. The Deep Zoom collection is 364 Mbytes big (thanks to some optimization in the Zoomery framework). There are 42315 files generated for the collection, most of these are tiles.
